With everyone on the AI Hypetrain, Microsoft’s version Copilot is enabled by default in Windows 11. If you want to remove this bloat check out the following guide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fix It with CL Debloat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Download CL Debloat here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click Downloads in your Browser (Ctrl +J will open the downloads directly) and click the \u201cCLDebloatSetup.exe\u201d file and follow the prompt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Once installed click the CL Debloat icon on the desktop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Under the Bloat tab, check the “Disable Copilot” box and click Apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    That’s it! Copilot will be disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Fix It with Windows 11 Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Open the Windows Settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select Personalization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select Taskbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Turn off the Copilot option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      This will disable Copilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Fix It with Registry Editor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. Click on Search (or Start) of Windows and, “regedit” and select the Register Editor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. In the top left of the Registry Editor navigate to the following 
        HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced\\<\/code><\/pre><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Right-click the Advanced folder, select to New and choose DWORD (32-bit) Value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Name the key “ShowCopilotButton” and press enter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Set the Value of the new Key to 0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Repeat the same steps above for this registry location as well:
        HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows\\WindowsCopilot<\/code><\/pre><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. Create a New new\u00a0and choose\u00a0DWORD (32-bit) Value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      8. Name the key “TurnOffWindowsCopilot” and press enter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      9. Set the Value of the new Key to 1.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        Restart the PC and Copilot will be disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        How to Restore Copilot with CL Debloat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        Using CL Debloat you can easily undo this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. Launch CL Debloat and select the Bloat Tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Uncheck the “Disable Copilot” option and click Apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          Windows Copilot will now be re-enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
          How to restore Copilot Using Other Methods<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          Method 1:<\/strong> You can restore Copilot directly in Windows 11 settings using the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
