Disable “Give Access” in Context Menu

Windows 11 adds a lot of extra options to the right click Context Menu that are unnecessary and just clutter. One of these is the “Give Access” option which has no meaning if you are the only user of the PC and not using any network sharing.

Fix It with CL Debloat

  1. Download CL Debloat here.
  2. Click Downloads in your Browser (Ctrl +J will open the downloads directly) and click the “CLDebloatSetup.exe” file and follow the prompt.
  3. Once installed click the CL Debloat icon on the desktop.
  4. Under the Visual tab, check the “Disable “Give Access” in Context Menu” box and click Apply.

You might need to restart Windows for this change to take effect, but that’s it! The Give Access option will be gone from the right click menu.

How to Restore “Give Access” option in the Right Click Menu with CL Debloat

Using CL Debloat you can easily undo this:

  1. Launch CL Debloat and select the Visual Tab
  2. Uncheck the “Disable “Give Access” in Context Menu” option and click Apply.

The default Right Click menu will be restored.
