Windows has a default “3d Objects” folder that is created, this folder is not really used any more. You can hide this folder to debloat your File Explorer.

Fix It with CL Debloat
- Download CL Debloat here.
- Click Downloads in your Browser (Ctrl +J will open the downloads directly) and click the “CLDebloatSetup.exe” file and follow the prompt.
- Once installed click the CL Debloat icon on the desktop.
- Under the Bloat tab, check the “Hide 3d Objects Folder” box and click Apply.
That’s it! The 3d Objects folder will be hidden in the File Explorer.
Fix It with Windows 11 File Explorer
- Open File Explorer of Windows (via the Start menu or the Windows Key + E shortcut).
- On the left panel, right click the 3d Objects folder.
- Click Properties in the right click menu.
- At the bottom of the Properties pop-up, click the checkbox next to Hidden.
- Click OK.
That’s it! The 3d Objects folder will be hidden in the File Explorer.

How to Restore the 3d Objects folder with CL Debloat
Using CL Debloat you can easily undo this:
- Launch CL Debloat and select the Bloat Tab
- Uncheck the “Hide 3d Objects Folder” option and click Apply.
The Gallery folder will be visible in the File Explorer again.
How to restore the 3d Objects folder Using Other Methods
Method 1: You can restore the 3d Objects folder directly in Windows 11 settings using the following steps:
- Open File Explorer of Windows (via the Start menu or the Windows Key + E shortcut).
- In the top Tool Bar, select the View Tab.
- Under Show, select Hidden Items.
- On the left panel, right click the 3d Objects folder.
- Click Properties in the right click menu.
- At the bottom of the Properties pop-up, uncheck the box next to Hidden.
- Click OK.
- In the top Tool Bar, select the View Tab, under Show, unselect Hidden Items.
The 3d Objects folder will be visible in the File Explorer again.
